No apologies. No fine print.

Eternal life is a free gift.
Believe in Jesus, and it is yours forever.

Not earned by works. Not kept by works. Not proven by works. Jesus promised it to everyone who believes in Him, and He does not take it back.

The gospel in plain words

  1. You cannot earn heaven. Everyone has sinned, and no amount of good behavior pays for it.

    for all have sinned, and fall short of the glory of God;

    Romans 3:23 (WEB)
  2. Jesus paid for every sin. He died in your place and rose again.

For I delivered to you first of all that which I also received: that Christ died for our sins according to the Scriptures, that he was buried, that he was raised on the third day according to the Scriptures,

    1 Corinthians 15:3-4 (WEB)
  3. Eternal life is received by believing in Him. Not by believing plus doing. Just believing.

For God so loved the world, that he gave his one and only Son, that whoever believes in him should not perish, but have eternal life.

    John 3:16 (WEB)
  4. It cannot be lost. Jesus calls it eternal, and He says no one can take it from you.

I give eternal life to them. They will never perish, and no one will snatch them out of my hand.

    John 10:28 (WEB)
  5. You can know it right now. Not hope, not guess. Know.

These things I have written to you who believe in the name of the Son of God, that you may know that you have eternal life, and that you may continue to believe in the name of the Son of God.

    1 John 5:13 (WEB)

Jesus said it this way

Most certainly, I tell you, he who believes in me has eternal life.

John 6:47 (WEB)

“Most certainly I tell you, he who hears my word, and believes him who sent me, has eternal life, and doesn’t come into judgment, but has passed out of death into life.

John 5:24 (WEB)

Why this site exists

Many churches today teach that faith gets you in, but works keep you in, or that works prove you were ever in at all. Others add baptism, sacraments, Sabbath keeping, law keeping, or "enduring to the end." Every one of those adds a condition Jesus never attached to His promise. This site says so plainly, shows why from Scripture, and answers the strongest objections head on.

for by grace you have been saved through faith, and that not of yourselves; it is the gift of God, not of works, that no one would boast.

Ephesians 2:8-9 (WEB)

But to him who doesn’t work, but believes in him who justifies the ungodly, his faith is accounted for righteousness.
